Gervonta Davis Decisions “Pitbull” Cruz in Hard-Fought Rumble
By Carlos Costa
In a tough, competitive 12-round clash, unbeaten WBA 135-pound (Regular) World Champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (26-0, 24 KO’s) was forced to rumble the whole distance in blow-by-blow action to win a unanimous decision against determined, game Mexican challenger Isaac “Pittbull” Cruz (22-2-1, 15 KO’s) Saturday night at the Staples Center Los Angelas live on Showtime PPV.
But even though the war was exciting and lived up to expectations, Gervonta is not at all interested in giving Cruz the rematch.
“Hell no,” Gervonta affirmed.
Instead, the unbeaten “Tank” would love a lightweight unification rumble against Devin Haney, Ryan García or George Kambosos Jr.
For many fans, Gervonta against Loma or Teofimo would be exciting too.
Who would you like to see Gervonta up against next?
