Gian Villante vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk is the latest fight that has been added to the UFC Prague card, which takes place Feb. 23 at the 02 Arena.

UFC announced the light heavyweight contest through its social media feeds Monday after Villante revealed the name of his next opponent during a media scrum at UFC Brooklyn last weekend.

Villante (17-10-0) is coming off his split decision win over Ed Herman at UFC Moncton in October. He contested his first bout under the UFC banner back in 2013. During his tenure with the promotion, he has claimed a even record of 7-7 in the Octagon.

The heavy handed New Yorker has claimed notable UFC wins over recently retired PFL champion, Sean O’Connell, and highly ranked light heavyweight, Corey Anderson.

Oleksiejczuk (12-2-0) had a debut unanimous decision win over Khalil Rountree overturned to a no contest after he tested positive after undergoing pre-fight screening for his short-notice UFC bow. The Polish fighter was handed a year’s suspension and was fined 30 percent of his $12,000 purse.

“Lord” was on a nine-fight win streak and was a champion under the Thunderstrike Fight League banner ahead of signing on the dotted line for the UFC.
