The most stacked card of the year just got another great fight.

Gilbert Burns and Dan Hooker will meet in a lightweight bout at UFC 226 on July 7 in Las Vegas, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani confirmed Saturday. New Zealand’s Stuff was the first to report the news.

Burns (14-2) is coming off a vicious knockout of Dan Moret at UFC on FOX 29 last month. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace has won two straight and three of his last four. Burns, 31, sports a 6-2 record in the UFC and seems primed for a contender run.

Hooker (16-7) has won three straight, most recently an incredible flying knee knockout of Jim Miller at UFC Atlantic City in April. The New Zealand native has been excellent since moving up from featherweight to lightweight. Hooker, 28, has four highlight-reel KO victories in his time in the UFC and two Performance of the Night bonuses to his name.

UFC 226 is headlined by a superfight for the heavyweight title between heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and light heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier. In the co-main event, Max Hollowaywill defend his featherweight title against Brian Ortega. The card is the crown jewel of the UFC’s annual International Fight Week festival.
