In a thrilling war, awesome and impressive Mexican warrior Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (43-0, 29 KO’s) stopped brave and game Cuban Yunieski Gonzalez (21-4 ), in 10 exiciting rounds to win the WBA Light Heavyweight title Eliminator tonight, Saturday Dec 18, at the AT&T Center, San Antonio, Texas.

Ramirez and the Cuban embraced after exchanging such a storm of leather on each other, showing in beautiful frames that the sport of boxing is for noble men and women.

After the fantastic win, which was a Christmas gift to fans in San Antonio, will the fantastic Mexican “Zurdo,” Ramirez finally get his shot at unbeaten Russian WBA 175-pound champion Dmitry Bivol?
