Golden Oldie! De La Hoya returns for an exhibition

Promoter Triller announces that 11-time world champion Oscar De La Hoya will return to the ring, to face UFC former fighter Vitor Belfort, on Saturday, September 11, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at a venue to be announced.

De La Hoya and Belfort will clash in a boxing ring, in an exhibition that will be broadcast on PPV.

“I am ready to return to the ring and I am proud to be a part of Triller and its revolutionary model of reinventing the business of boxing as entertainment. I have nothing but respect for a champion like Vitor Belfort, so it is certain that we will have a fight of high level, “De La Hoya commented.”

“My return in September is incredibly important, as it represents a very important moment in history for me, my fans, and my culture. This date is very special for all those with ties and roots in Mexico.”
