HBO recently announced that after 45 years, the network would be leaving the sport of boxing behind, but there are still a few cards in the works.

There is, of course, the October 27 fight in New York between Daniel Jacobs and Sergiy Derevyanchenko for a vacant middleweight title. And it’s been reported before that a December 8 card featuring junior middleweight titleholder Jaime Munguia is also in the works.

That card, according to ESPN, could become a tripleheader also featuring Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez and top pound-for-pound women’s fighter Cecilia Braekhus.

Gonzalez (47-2, 39 KO) returned on September 15 on the Canelo-GGG 2 pay-per-view, stopping Moises Fuentes in the fifth round. The 31-year-old looked pretty good once he warmed up, and while it’s unlikely he ever scales the heights he’s reached in the past, he remains a force to be reckoned with in he 115-pound division.

Braekhus (34-0, 9 KO) is the undisputed welterweight champion of the world and was featured in the first ever women’s fight on HBO in May, beating Kali Reis. She last fought on July 21 in Moscow, beating Inna Sagaydakovskaya by decision to retain her titles.
