During a busy press conference, at the Urban High School in the town of Aguas Buenas, Black Tiger Promotions and Empire Boxing Promotions presented the card ‘Honor on the Mountain’, which is this Saturday night, at  the Coliseo Samuel ‘Sammy’ Rodríguez in Aguas Buenas.

In the  main event , Aguas Buenas’ hero Yomar ‘The Magic’ Álamo (13-0, 10 KOs)  seeks  to become  championyouth World Boxing Council  when he clashes with Hungarian Zsigmond Vass (13-5, 2 KO) in an eight-round match at the  140-pounds division.

The Alamo-Vass will become the first  WBC youth world championship fight on PR soil.

“Vass has been talking about the fact that he’s going to rip my head off and he’ll take the title to Hungary, but those comments are nothing more than motivation for me. My only wish for my opponent is to be well prepared for the fight because I want my people of Aguas Buenas and of all Puerto Rico, to enjoy and remember this  fight “.

Zsigmond Vass said: “In my first fight in Puerto Rico I did not do well, but in this one it will be different because it will be fighting at  my weight division, and you will see the difference. I trained, hard and  I even painted my hair green because that title is already mine. ”

On the undercard, former London 2012 Olympian Jantony Ortiz (7-0, 4 KO’s) from Junuma’s Humacao neighborhood will try to win the first title of his pro career vs. Chilean Robinson Lavinanza (12 -4-1, 4 KO) contesting the  FECARBOX belt of the 118 pounds division.

“Thanks to the World Boxing Council for allowing me to contest this title after  only 7 fights. I hope my rival is ready for what’s coming.  I promise that  Puerto Rico will be proud”.
