GRONLUND RETAINS THAI 135-LBS BELT

Unbeaten Thai 135-pounder Kevin Gronlund (5-0-1, 2 KO’s) landed hard lefts over compatriot Attanon Kunlawong (15-6-1, 11 KO’s), but also took good punches in return en route to a competitive 8-rounder majority draw March 4 at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok.

With the hard-fought draw, the 26-year-old Kevin Gronlund defended for the first time his Thai National Lightweight Title, feeling ready for more action wars in 2022.

The third man for the close rumble was
Visuth Yingaupagarn.
