Guardario, Cabilla to fight in Japan July 26

DAVAO CITY — Two Filipino bantamweights Jesel “The Axeman” Guardario of Negros Oriental and Marzon Cabilla of Bohol will both fight on July 26 at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan.The 25-year old Guardario (8W-3L-1D, 4KO) will trade punches with debuting Yusuke Mine of Japan. Guardario TKO’d Jerry Canada of Manila in the 4th round last March 13 in Pangasinan. He, however suffered a 1st round stoppage from Bienvenido Ligas of Caloocan last Sept. 20 in Pasay City.Cabilla, on the other hand, will fight 21-year old Akio Furutani (6W-4L, 2KO) of Japan.
The 28-year old Cabilla TKO’d Dondon Navarez of Zamboanga in the 6th round last Oct. 19.
He, however lost to Hibiki Jogo of Japan by a unanimous decision last April 5, 2019 in EDION  Arena.Furutani, on the other hand, knockout Natsu Ohashi of Japan in the 4th round last May 26 in Osaka City University.He earlier beat by UD compatriot Genki Tashima last Dec. 24 in Osaka.
