Former Mexican world champions in the super bantamweight division, Hugo “Cuatito” Ruiz and Mexican Julio “Pollito” Ceja, are on the lookout for new champion Rey Vargas.
Rey won the World Boxing Council Super bantamweight crown last weekend, after a veritable battle royal, on rival territory. This memorable fight, was transmitted to all of Mexico by Televisa Sports, thanks to the joint effort of Promociones del Pueblo, Cavall Sport and Playboy Mexico.
Both “Cuatito” and “Pollito” who are in the same weight class, have already raised their hands to face the new champion.
“We`ll have to see and assess the proposals. It`ll be with the best name with the highest offer. Also one of my principal goals and dreams, is to win the green and gold belt in other categories, as it`s the very best,” says Rey.
