Haney: I’m going to be the next superstar in boxing

Lightweight prospect Devin Haney (19-0, 13 KOs) is currently slated to take on Juan Carlos Burgos (33-2-2, 21 KOs) on a September 28 ShoBox card and in anticipation of the clash the Haney and his father/trainer talks about his aspirations in the sport and why he started his own promotional company at only 19 years old.

DEVIN HANEY

On his upcoming fight with world title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos:

“Juan Carlos Burgos is a tough opponent who’s been in multiple world title fights and has a lot of experience. This will definitely be my toughest fight to date on paper, and on September 28, I will show the world what Devin Haney is made of.”

On having his first show as a promoter:

On fighting at the Pechanga Resort Casino:

On making his second appearance on SHOWTIME:

On the progress of his son’s development:

On his recent training camp:
