Tonight at 10:00 pm ET on Showtime, live from 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, ShoBox: The New Generation returns with a four-fight bill headlined by a 10-round lightweight bout between Devin Haney and Mason Menard.
Haney (19-0, 12 KO) is a blue chip prospect, but he’s taking on a big step up in competition against Menard (33-2, 24 KO), a ShoBox veteran with power and experience. It’s the type of fight ShoBox is made to feature, and a welcome main event for the series.
In the 10-round super bantamweight co-feature, Joshua Greer (16-1-1, 8 KO) will take on Glenn Dezurn (9-1-1, 6 KO) in matchup of ShoBox vets. The two nearly came to blows at Thursday’s weigh-in.
A pair of eight-round fights round out the bill. In light heavyweight action, Alvin Varmall Jr (15-0-1, 12 KO) will take on Charles Foster (15-0, 8 KO), and in another super bantamweight bout, you’ll see Arnold Khegai (11-0-1, 8 KO) facing Adam Lopez (16-2-2, 8 KO). The fight will be Lopez’s seventh on ShoBox, a record.
