Shinsuke Yamanaka (27-1-2, 19KOs) has started sparring with two Filipino fighters in preparation for his rematch on March 1st at the Kokugikan Arena in Tokyo against WBC bantamweight champion Luis “Pantera” Nery,  who dethroned him last August in Kyoto, Japan, via TKO in the fourth round.

Shinsuke fought four rounds with his two Filipino sparring partners, two rounds with Michael Dasmarinas (27-2, 18KOs), and two rounds with left-handed Filipino bantamweight champion Glenn Suminguit (20-3, 10KOs).

Following his defeat by Luis Nery, Yamanaka has painstakingly been assessing the cause and effect, in order to correct the error of his ways. . In that decisive moment when the towel was thrown around the corner, Shinsuke’s legs and body were weak and unable to react.

“I`m training like never before!  I`m so focused on correcting my mistakes and on improving in every way,” commented a grimly determined Yamanaka, who decided to return to the ring with the singular  goal of avenging the only defeat he has suffered in his entire career.
