Heather Hardy all but faced off with two opponents Thursday at Bellator 185 weigh-ins.

As Hardy stepped off the scale for the traditional staredown with Kristina Williams, her Bellator opponent Friday at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun, another woman approached the stage and confronted Hardy. That woman was Shelly Vincent, who Hardy beat in boxing last year in a bout for the WBC International female featherweight title, Bellator officials told MMA Fighting.

Hardy just smiled and laughed at Williams. Bellator security intervened and escorted Vincent away from the stage area.

When reached by MMA Fighting, Hardy demurred about talking about the situation.

“I’m completely focused on my opponent right now and keeping my undefeated record wherever I fight,” Hardy said. “Besides, that was just one of my obsessed fans.”

Hardy, 35, made her MMA debut at Bellator 180 in June with a third-round TKO of Alice Yauger at Madison Square Garden. The Brooklyn native is 20-0 in boxing and has become a rising star in both combat sports.

Vincent wrote in an Instagram post afterward that Hardy “can fool the public but those of us on the inside know the real deal.”
