Undefeated World Boxing Council super lightweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford and world ranked Félix Díaz fight this Saturday at Madison Square Garden, and it`ll be televised live on HBO.
Crawford (30-0, 21 KO’s) of Omaha, Nebraska has won five of his last seven by the way of knockout.
Diaz (19-1, 9 KO’s), from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is an Olympic gold medalist in 2008. A natural super lightweight, Diaz only has a single defeat on his record, which was against two-time champion Lamont Peterson.
Crawford and Diaz complied with the pre-weights and medical examinations required by the WBC, in order to protect the health and well being of the fighters.
