Hector Lombard will have a chance to return to the winning column in March.
The former Bellator middleweight champ returns to the Octagon at UFC 222, as he’s been scheduled to take on fellow vet C.B. Dolloway in a 185-pound contest. The event is set to go down on March 3 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
The news was first reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal on Wednesday.
Lombard is currently on a four-fight skid with three of those losses coming by knockout. The 39-year-old fighter’s last victory was at UFC 182 where he outpointed Josh Burkman, but later had that win overturned to a no-contest after failing a drug test. Lombard is 3-6 and one no-contest since joining the UFC back in 2012.
Meanwhile, Dolloway will be looking to build off his decision win over Ed Herman in July. Prior to that, the 34-year-old Dolloway was on a three-fight skid with losses to Nate Marquardt,Michael Bisping and Lyoto Machida.
