On Saturday, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Argentine Jorge Sebastian Heiland and American Jermall Charlo will clash, in a World Boxing Council elimination bout in the middleweight division.
Charlo (25-0, 19 KO), 27, twin brother of current WBC super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo, will be making his middleweight debut.
Heiland (29-4-2, 16 KO), a 30-year-old from Argentina, with eight wins in a row, is ranked No. 1 on the WBC lists. Both have satisfactorily fulfilled the medical examinations and pre-weighings required by the WBC, to protect health and well being.
