After eight days apart from his beloved UFC flyweight championship belt, Henry Cejudo has finally reunited with his favorite 12 pounds of gold.

Cejudo took to his Instagram to share the heartfelt moment.

“From Moscow to New York, I finally got my big daddy,” said Cejudo in the video before cradling his title. “Don’t you ever leave my sight again. You hear me?”

The newly crowned 125-pound king previously lost his belt, along with the rest of luggage, during his flight to Russia last week for UFC Moscow. This, oddly enough, marked the second time time Cejudo had lost gold, as his 2008 Olympic medal was claimed by the California wildfires last year.

“Luckily the UFC took me on a shopping spree,” Cejudo told reporters backstage at UFC Moscow. “Unfortunately, my belt is in my luggage. So now, on top of my gold medal, now it’s my belt. I don’t know what it is about gold. I can’t keep it.”

Cejudo (13-2) earned his title with a thrilling decision win over longtime champion and former pound-for-pound No. 1 Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227 in August. While there is no word on his first title defense, UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw is already hinting at a potential champions vs. champion fight in the near future.
