Unbeaten super featherweight Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez (20-0-3, 17 KOs) scored a second round KO over former world champion Victor “Vikingo” Terrazas (38-4-1, 21 KOs) on Saturday night at the historic Arena Coliseo in Mexico City. A hook to the liver followed by two head shots sent Terrazas to the deck at the 3:00. The 18-year-old Hernandez claimed the WBC Latin American title.
In a female fight, former world champion Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno outpointed “Mighty” Melissa McMorrow over ten by scores of 100-88, 100-90 and 98-89.
