Precision power punching undefeated World Boxing Council flyweight champion Daigo Higa (14-0-0, 14 KOs), will defend his crown on February 4th at the Budokan Arena in Naha City, Okinawa, against former champion Moisés Fuentes (25-4-1, 4KOs).
Higa was crowned as WBC flyweight king by knocking out Mexican Juan “Churritos” Hernandez in the sixth round in Tokyo last May. An historic achievement in Japanese boxing history, since no compatriot fighter had been previously been crowned with an unbeaten record with all triumphs via KO.
