Undefeated WBC Flyweight champion, Daigo Higa who’s already made history in Japan by halting all of his fourteen opponents on the way to the top, defends his title against former world champion Moises Fuentes (25-4-1 / 4KOs) of Mexico, on February 4th.
The much anticipated bout will be at the Budokan Arenas in the City of Naha, Okinawa. Higa makes his second defense of the crown that he won last May by knocking out Mexican Juan “Churritos” Hernández in the sixth round.
Daigo Higa well knows that Fuentes was knocked out in the fifth round in Japan by an undefeated Japanese former minimum weight and flyweight champion Kosei Tanaka (10-0 / 6KOs), so Daigo Higa wants to KO Moises Fuentes even faster than did Tanaka, due to their sporting rivalry.
Thanks to his TNT knockout power, Daigo is already a historic Japanese boxer, as he was able to become world champion with a perfect record of 14 victories with 14 Ko´s. An historic mark in Japanese boxing.
