The inaugural World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight final is set for the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia on Saturday, July 21st. Gassiev, who trains alongside Gennady Golovkin, crushed Krzysztof Wlodarczyk via body shot KO in the quarterfinals, then dramatically knocked out Yunier Dorticos in the semifinals with just seconds remaining in a fight he was on his way to winning anyway. These are clearly the best two cruiserweights on the planet, and there’s much anticipation that their respective styles will lead to an instant classic.
