A couple of World Boxing Council International titles on the line, presented by SKV Boxing at the Evloev Sports Palace in Nazran, Russia.
In one of the main matches, the undefeated Russian Vyacheslav Mirzaev (10-0-0, 1 KO) defended his WBC Silver International bantamweight title for the first time against the dangerous and experienced Filipino Sukpraserd Ponpitak (18-6-0, 12 KO’S).
Mirzaev showed his best boxing beating his rival, who could never decipher the style of the Russian prospect who won the International Silver belt in June. In the other headliner, Russian prospect Ismail Iliev (10-0-1, 3 KOs), achieved an important triumph, winning the World Boxing Council International Super Welterweight title, defeating the tough Argentine fighter Ricardo Villalba inside the distance.
The combat was dominated mostly by Iliev who showed more aggressive inclinations, although Villalba never stopped coming forward. It ended in the ninth, when the Referee Daniel Van de Wiele, stopped the fight on medical recommendation, due to a deep cut on the left eyebrow of the brave Argentinian.
