India’s Devraj Das Assigned to Important Post in IBA

The IBA (International Boxing Association) has appointed Mr. Devraj Das of India as a Member of IBA’s newly formed Professional Boxing Committee

India’s renowned boxing promoter, Devraj Das, who revolutionized pro boxing in India has officially been appointed as a Member of the IBA Professional Boxing Committee.

The new Professional Boxing Committee has been approved by IBA’s President Mr. Umar Kremlev as well as by IBA’s Board of Directors, who have established it to oversee professional boxing aiming to host various boxing events across multiple countries.

“The formation of the IBA Professional Boxing Committee marks a significant milestone in our pursuit of excellence, advancing our professional boxing theme globally.

“We are committed to ensuring that our champions and athletes receive the recognition they deserve,” states the IBA President Umar Kremlev.

The active Devraj Das was recently part of the “IBA Champions Night” in Serpukhov, Russia, which hosted two WBA World Title fights on that night.

During his visit to Russia, Devraj Das discussed with President Mr. Kremlev about hosting international boxing championships in India, which can result in elevation of Indian professional boxing on the global stage.

Devraj Das, a well-respected person in the Indian boxing family, expressed his gratitude towards IBA team, the President and the Secretary General/CEO Mr. Chris Robert OBE for his guidance and constant support.

“Devraj with his extensive knowledge and experience will play a pivotal role within our organisation which will involve in structuring & regulating the professional boxing related to IBA Champions Night and other associated key projects” stated Secretary General/CEO Chris Roberts.
