Inson, Libraza ready to fight anew

DAVAO CITY – Prospects Jay-Ar “Hitman” Inson and Genisis “Cobra” Libranza of Davao City are both now ready to fight on July 20 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.The 28-year old Inson (18W-2L-0D, 12KO) will fight Mahonri “Russo Jr.” Montes (35W-9L-1D, 24KO) of Mexico in an 8-round welterweight division.“Ihatag nako tanan ang best nako ani awaya,” said Inson in a Facebook message.Inson, however lost to Jonathan Steele of USA by split decision last Jan. 19 in US. The 25-year old Libranza (18W-1L-0D, 10KO), on the other hand, will face Carlos Maldonaldo (11W-3L-0D, 7KO) of USA in an 8-round flyweight bout.Libranza won the unanimous decision to Gilbert Mendoza of USA last Feb. 9, 2019 in Carson, California.Libranza also retained the Philippine flyweight title by a unanimous decision to Renz Rosia of Mandaluyong last Oct. 14.“Nalipay kaayo ko kay big break kaayo ni,” said Libranza in a Facebook message.Meanwhile, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (61W-7L-2D, 39KO) will challenged Keith “One Time” Thurman (29W-0L, 22KO) of the WBA Super World welterweight title in the main event.
