Invicta FC is bolstering its 115-pound and 145-pound divisions.
Eight new contracts were announced for the all-female promotion’s roster on Thursday, including the addition of former UFC strawweights Jamie Moyle, Danielle Taylor, and Viviane Pereira. Rizin’s Kanako Murata and amateur Valerie Wong have also joined Invicta’s strawweight ranks.
At featherweight, France’s Zarah Fairn Dos Santos (6-2) is set to make her debut while one-time Invicta title challenger Faith McMah (formerly known as Faith Van Duin) has signed a new deal.
Amateur flyweight Caitlin Sammons has also joined the promotion.
This will be Moyle’s second stint in Invicta. She went 3-1 the first time around, then appeared on The Ultimate Fighter 23 before making her Octagon debut at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale in December 2016, where she defeated Kailin Curran. She would go on to lose her next two bouts before being released. Her professional record sits at 4-3.
Taylor (9-4) won two of her five fights in the UFC, outpointing one-time strawweight title challenger Jessica Penne and Seo Hee Ham. She lost her last two bouts inside the Octagon.
As previously reported, Pereira (13-2) signed a multi-fight deal with Invicta in early August. She made her UFC debut with a split decision win over former strawweight title challenger Valerie Letourneau, but went just 2-2 with the company.
McMah (6-3) has competed for Invicta since 2015, which includes a 45-second TKO loss at Invicta FC 13 to then-featherweight champion Cris Cyborg.
Of the announced signings, Murata (8-1) has had the most success recently, winning four straight fights including submission wins over Angela Magana and former TUF contestant Lanchana Green.
