WBO World super flyweight champion Kazuto Ioka of Japan will again defend his title time against Francisco “Chihuas” Rodriguez Jr. of Mexico on Sept. 1 at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Japan.
It will be the 3rd title defense by Ioka, who won the vacant title by a TKO against Aston Palicte last June 19, 2019, in Chiba City.

Rodriguez (34W-4L-1D, 24KOs), on the other hand, won by a split decision against Martin Tecuapetla last Feb. 26, 2021.
