Sonora`s Iran Iraq Diaz is training as never before in the State of Mexico, for the trip to Thailand fighting formidable World Boxing Council super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, on October 6th.
“My camp is in Jiquipilco, in the State of Mexico with Alfredo Caballero. We had already trained in the mountains when we beat ‘Nica’ Concepción and that felt very good. I need to arrive in the absolute the best possible condition, as this is the most important fight of my life!
“We have waited a very long time for this. It’s a great challenge. The greater the risk, the greater the glory. I`m so very motivated contesting the green and gold belt. I’m a tall fighter for the super flyweight division and I’m going to make the very most of it.
“The champion Sor Rungvisai is very strong and tough. I know this will be a very difficult mission, but I`m also sure that I will become the new world champion!”
Iran aged twenty six has a record of 14 wins with 6 knockouts and 3 defeats.
