Jack Shore will return to the scene of his bantamweight title winning performance against Mike Ekundayo as he looks to defend the belt for the first time against Scott Malone in the main event of Cage Warriors 104 in Cardiff, Wales on Apr. 27.
Cage Warriors announced the fight through its social media channels Thursday.
Shore (10-0-0) is one of the most outstanding prospects currently hailing from the U.K. After graduating to the pro ranks on the back of clinching the IMMAF European Open title in 2015, “Tank” has kept his perfect record intact, seeing off all comers before claiming the promotional title in his last outing in December.
Malone (6-1-0) is a Commonwealth judo champion who has won six consecutive fights since suffering a defeat in his first professional contest. “Boom Boom” has taken three straight wins with Cage Warriors, scoring his most impressive win to date with an armbar finish of Welsh fan favorite Josh Reed in Cardiff in December, the same night Shore claimed the bantamweight title.
