Jekyll and Hyde “Alacran” apologizes for stinging ambushes… on the Roman road

By WBCboxing.com

Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt (34-1-0, 30 ko’s) is getting lean and being mean,  readying himself for a full scale Roman pitched battle.

Miguel is facing down the division’s mandatory challenger, ruthless Miguel “Mickey” Roman (60-12-0, 47 ko’s) on Saturday, November 3 at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. The match is presented by Zanfer, Max Boxing and Top Rank. It`ll be broadcast in the United States by ESPN, and in Mexico by Azteca 7.

Berchelt is hardening his heart, his body plus his mindset, in Hermosillo, Sonora, supervised by  his coach Alfredo Caballero.

“I’m so eager to put Roman in his place, that when sparring I imagine it’s him and I squeeze my mind`s eye of him into my sparring.  An apology because I have hurt my sparring partners. But immediately the action stops I apologize to them. They  are used to it because my coach Alfredo Caballero goes all out in boxing sessions.

“Here there is more at stake than triumph…it`s pride!   I want to teach a lesson to ‘Mickey’ on his own home turf. I`m  totally fed up with all of  his speeches. In the ring my fists will deliver the punch line,” the WBC world champion declares, with glare.
