A strawweight bout between Jessica Aguilar and Jodie Esquibel has been re-booked.

MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani confirmed with sources that Aguilar and Esquibel will fight at UFC Idaho on July 14 at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The two were supposed to meet at UFC Uticathis past weekend, but a day prior to that event the New York State Athletic Commission ruled that Aguilar had a medical condition that would prevent her from competing. Esquibel was subsequently pulled from the card as well.

On Wednesday, Aguilar posted a picture of herself with Esquibel announcing that the fight had been rescheduled.

In the post, Aguilar thanks her management, Esquibel, the UFC, and matchmaker Mick Maynard for putting the fight back together again so quickly.

Aguilar, 36, is seeking her first UFC win after losing unanimous decisions to Cortney Casey andClaudia Gadelha in her two Octagon appearances thus far. Prior to that, Aguilar reigned as the World Series of Fighting strawweight champion and she holds notable wins over Megumi Fujii andCarla Esparza. Her professional record stands at 19-6.

Also looking for her first UFC win is Esquibel, who made her debut with the promotion in a unanimous decision loss to Karolina Kowalkiewicz last October. The 32-year-old Invicta veteran is 6-3 as a pro.
