Top women’s flyweights Jessica-Rose Clark and Andrea Lee will meet at UFC Milwaukee on December 15th.
A fight between two promising flyweights has been added to UFC Milwaukee on December 15th, as Jessica Rose-Clark will take on Andrea Lee. The UFC announced the fight via social media on Tuesday. This will be the promotion’s first return to the city of Milwaukee since UFC 164 in August 2013.
The booking comes just two weeks after Lee released a statement after allegedly being assaulted by her husband and coach Donny Aaron. Police are still searching for Aaron, 42, in regards to the offence, and believe he may be hiding in MMA gym.
Clark (9-5, 1NC) last fought at UFC Singapore in June, losing to Jessica Eye by unanimous decision. “Jessy Jess” started off her UFC career brightly before her most recent loss, defeating both Paige VanZant and Bec Rawlings by decision.
Lee (9-2) is currently on a five-fight winning streak, picking up four of those wins last year outside of the UFC under the Legacy and Invicta banner. Vacating her LFA flyweight title when she signed for the UFC, she defeated Veronica Macedo by decision in her debut at UFC Chile in May.
UFC Milwaukee will take place at Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center on December 15th. No main event has yet been announced for the card.
