Two-time mexican olympian and current featherweight champion of the world, Oscar Valdez held a media day event with teammate, junior featherweight challenger, Jessie Magdaleno at Jack Rabbit Boxing Gym in Long Beach, California Thursday afternoon. Valdez will be defending his world title for the first time against Japanese sensation Hiroshige Osawa at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada while Magdaleno takes on current WBO junior featherweight champion Nonito Donaire.
