Jin to fight Aso on Dec. 26

Undefeated Jin Sasaki of Hachioji will fight Aso Ishiwaki of Neyagawa for the vacant Japanese Youth super lightweight title on Dec. 26 at the Sumida City Gym.

The 19-year-old Jin (9W-0L, 8KOs) already had two wins in 2020. He first knockout Shun Akaiwa in the 1st round last Aug. 31 at Shinjuku FACE in Japan.

Jin then TKO Tatsuya Miyazaki the 1st round last Nov. 23 at Shinjuku FACE.

Aso, 21 (8W-2L-1D, 6KOS), on the other hand, defeated Ryuji Ikeda in the 2nd round last Nov. 15, 2019, at Korakuen Hall.

It is under the Japan Boxing Commission and the promoter is Ichitaro Ishii of Yokohama Hikari Promotions.
