JOHANN DUHAUPAS DUE TO DEFEND SILVER CROWN AGAINST CARLOS TAKAM

The Silver heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Johann Duhaupas (34-3) will defend his crown against Carlos Takam (33-3-1) on January 28, at a venue to be determined.

This will be the first Johann’s defense since he won the title last April with a victory over Robert Helenius. Takam had the opportunity of fighting Luis Ortiz on 12 November in Monaco, but he decided to contest  the WBC Silver crown.

The fight is presented by the Italian company OPI 2000 and Christian Cherchi Salvatore, who promotes Takam.
