Jong TKO’s Jae in 8th round

HEAVYWEIGHT southpaw Jong Kook Kim of Seongnam stopped Jae Min Kim of Pangyo via a technical knockout in the 8th round last Nov. 1 at the Jeokseong, Paju in South Korea.

It was Jong’s seventh win and four knockouts against one defeat while Jae suffered his fourth loss against two wins and two draws.

Meanwhile, featherweight Yang Ji Kim TKO’d Han Bin Kim in the 3rd round in the undercard.

The other bouts: welterweight Chul Woo Yoon settled a majority draw with Joon Sub Lee;

Heavyweight Joon Tae Park beat Hyun Ho Kim by a majority decision; super bantamweight Kyung Min Lee won by a unanimous decision over Chae Min Kim; super-middleweight Jung Joong Lee won by a split decision over Won Bin Jo.
