Two big match-ups were announced for UFC’s upcoming show in Winnipeg on Dec. 16.
Headlined by Robbie Lawler vs. Rafael dos Anjos, the UFC on FOX 26 card will feature a featherweight rematch between Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas and a welterweight clash between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Mike Perry.
The event is set to take place at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Canada.
Aldo (26-3) and Lamas (18-5) fought for the first time in 2014, when the Brazilian scored a unanimous decision win to defend his title for the sixth time. Aldo enters the bout looking to rebound from a loss to Max Holloway, while Lamas is coming off back-to-back stoppages over Charles Oliveira and Jason Knight.
Ponzinibbio (25-3) scored the biggest victory of his MMA career in July, knocking out Gunnar Nelson in 82 seconds to extend his winning streak to five. Perry (11-1) also has a lot of momentum coming off vicious knockouts over Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes.
