JOSE RAMIREZ SET TO DEFEND WBC CONTINENTAL AMERICAS CHAMPIONSHIP

Ex  Olympic  and current WBC super lightweight Continental Americas champion, Jose Ramirez, faces down  a tough opponent on December 2  in the card “Solo Boxeo” which will take place at the   Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.

Ramirez has a great record of 18-0, 13 KO’s, and he’ll need it, against Gabriel ‘Tito’ Bracero (24-3, 5 KO’s), from Brooklyn, N.Y., who’s  never been knocked out.

“While Jose  keeps climbing up towards a title bout his opponents will keep getting better and better” Bob Arum, Top Rank Supremo commented.

“Jose continues progressing  and this fight gets him closer to a title bout. Bracero is on his own road. He is a tough Puerto Rican contender from Brooklyn. He has been in big fights. He has got a great record, a KO, and he has never been knocked down  comneted Rick Mirigian, Ramirez’s manager.

Bracero won the NBC SPORTS 2015 KO OF THE YEAR as he  impressively defeated Danny O’Connor in Lowell, Massachusetts. He has also fought Paulie Malignaggi and  Felix Díaz .

The card will be broadcast in all USA through UniMás and Univisión Deportes.
