The unified WBA/IBF super lightweight world champion Scotsman Josh Taylor successfully defended his titles by knocking out in the very 1st round Thai challenger Apinun Khongsong Saturday in London, England.
In the co-feature, former flyweight world champion and current WBC # 3 world-ranked bantamweight Britton Charlie Edwards (16-1, 6 KOs) defeated Kyle Williams (11-3, 3 KO’s) by decision in ten rounds.
Also, Ionut Baluta (14-2, 3 KOs) stopped Davey Oliver Joyce (12-2, 9 KOs) vía 3rd round knockout to win the WBO European super-bantamweight belt.
