International Boxing Organization (IBO) International lightweight champion Ju Wu of Jinan will defend his title against Xiao Tao Su of Kunming on Dec. 26 at TSSG Center in Qingdao, China.
The 21-year-old Ju (9W-0L-2D) won the vacant IBO International lightweight title by beating Alain Chervet of Switzerland by a majority decision last Dec. 26 in Kursaal, Berne.
Xiao (11W-1L-0D, 6KOs), on the other hand, won the vacant IBO Oceania-Orient super featherweight title by knocking out Attanon Kunlawong of Thailand by a knockout in the 2nd round last April 24, 2019 in Haikou.
Xiao then TKO Shota Yukawa of Japan in the 1st round last Aug. 17 at Shenzhen Bao’an District Sports Center in Shenzhen, China.
Meanwhile, super welterweight Tonghui Li (12W-2L-0D, 6KOS) will face Dacong Wang (7W-1L-1D, 1KO) for the vacant World Boxing Council Asian Boxing Council Continental Super Welter Title in the supporting event.
It is under the Asian Boxing Commission. The promoters are Bob Arum of Top Rank and Li Sheng of SECA Ltd. while the matchmaker is Lin Fei.
