JUDGE FOR YOURSELF

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman says that objectivity concerning the actual criteria is paramount for successful judging, involving the evidence of your own eyes, rather than “HEARSAY.”

That the main reason for the experimental introduction of earphones for Judges, to help them focus and not risk being distracted, or distorted  by crowd noise or the very vocal loyalty of a particular  team-fans faction,  for their fighter.

Case in point at the Badou Jack Vs Lucian Bute fight where respective by opposing fans and teams were shouting themselves hoarse, close to Judges seated in different parts of the stadium. They nevertheless had to retain concentration and stick to objectivity.  Seeing is believing!
