Judges split on Ward-Kovalev scoring

At the time of the stoppage, WBA/WBO/IBF light heavyweight world champion Andre “S.O.G.” Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) was up 67-66 on the cards of judges Dave Moretti and Glenn Feldman, while former champion Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev (30-2, 25 KOs) was ahead 68-65 on the card of judge Steve Weisfeld.
