IT JUST WASN’T BANDIDO’S NIGHT LAMENTS DANTE “CRAZY” JARDÓN

WBC international silver lightweight champion Dante Jardon was surprised by the result of the fight between Francisco Vargas and Miguel Berchelt, because he had full confidence that then WBC super featherweight champion  “Bandido” would win.

“I really do not understand what happened in Indio, I know both Francisco and Miguel, I’ve been sparring with each of them  and I thought  Francisco has much the stronger punch.

“But…I saw a Francisco very tired and without the explosiveness that has always characterized him, a situation that Berchelt  took full advantage of, by connecting with harder punches.

“I can not deny that the result was surprising for me and for many others, but a bad night can happen to us all. This is  boxing. Sometimes you win and occasionally, you might lose.”
