Unbeaten Justin Ledet is set to drop down to light heavyweight to face surging Austrian Aleksandar Rakic at UFC Hamburg on July 22.
UFC announced the fight through its social media channels on Thursday.
Ledet (9-0-0, 1 NC) has beaten all three of his heavyweight opponents since signing with the UFC in 2016.
He scored a decision win over Chase Sherman in his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 92 in Salt Lake City. In his next bout, he submitted Marc Godbeer in the first round at UFC Belfast. Most recently, Ledet took a split decision nod when he welcomed Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series contestant, Azunna Anyanwu, to the Octagon.
Rakic (9-1-0) was signed after registering eight consecutive stoppage victories on the European scene. He took his only loss when he debuted as a professional in 2011. He made his debut at last year’s UFC Rotterdam event where he banked a decision win over Brazilian veteranFrancimar Barroso.
