THE Buhay Kamao Foundation Inc. and Shock Punch Promotions are co-presenting the “Kamao sa Kamao VII” on August 15 at 6 p.m. at the Camella Homes covered court located at 2B Virgo St. in Bacoor, Cavite.

Promoter Yolly Alfante said the main event will feature super featherweight Recky “The Terror” Dulay of Shock Punch Stable against Benjie “Wild Beast” Suganob of Knockout Gym from Zamboanga City.

Dulay, a former member of the Philippine national boxing team, last fought in the undercard of the last fight of former undisputed world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. against Andre Berto held September 12, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

The 22-year old Dulay, however, lost to Gervonta Davis by a technical knockout in 1:34 of the first round.

It was only Dulay’s second loss against 8 wins with 5 knockouts.

“Gusto kong manalo muli sa laban,” said the native of Catarman, Northern Samar.

Dulay has been training since last year for his comeback. He even went to Pattaya, Thailand to train under Ricky Seniego at the R & B Gym. Dulay last won on March 6, 2015 by stopping Menard Zaragosa in the second round held at the Paseo Commercial Center in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

“Handang handa na po akong lumaban ulit,” said the 5-foot-7 Dulay.

Suganob, however, is not a patsy with a record of 10 wins with 5 knockouts against 5 losses and 1 draw.

The 24-year old fighter from the Knockout Gym in Binangonan, Rizal also lost in his previous fight. He dropped a unanimous decision in challenging Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super bantamweight champion Shun Kubo last May 16, 2016 in Central Gym, Kobe Hyogo, Japan.

Suganob, however, last won against another Japanese boxer Seizo Kono by a majority decision last December 11 also at the Central Gym in Kobe. Suganod had also earlier fought but lost by a unanimous decision for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific featherweight title against Aekkawee Kaewmanee last August 12, 2015 at the Royal Square in Bangkok, Thailand.
