Japanese ranked world number 2, Tomoki “Mexicanito” Kameda (35-2 / 20KOs) and the Spanish ranked number 1, and European champion Abigail Medina (19-3-2 / 10Kos) will clash for the WBC Super Bantamweight Interim title on November 12 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
The fight will be broadcast on the platform Abema TV (a Japanese internet company) in an historic event, since it is the first time that a world boxing championship will be broadcast exclusively live over the internet in Japan.
Kameda, from Osaka, Japan and now resident of Tokyo, says he is highly motivated to contest the interim WBC world crown, especially in his homeland.
