Karperis headlines Aug 13 at the Paramount

New York State jr welterweight champion Anthony “Showtime” Karperis (12-2, 4 KOs), newly signed by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing, will face Ariel Duran (9-8-1, 5 KOs) on Saturday, August 13, at the Paramount in Huntington, NY. The bout will be a grudge rematch as Karperis won a razor thin decision over Duran on July 18, 2014.

Promoter Joe DeGuardia stated “These two fought a heck of a battle once before and I expect nothing less this time around, except the stakes are much higher with Karperis’ NY State title on the line.”
