Argentina’s Erica Farías, World Boxing Council super lightweight champion will step up to challenge Norway’s Cecilia Braekhus, THE undisputed welterweight queen, on Friday in Bergen, Norway.
The unbeaten Braekhus, 35, born in the city of Cartagena, has fought in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Belgium and the United States, building an enviable undefeated record of 30 fights with 8 Ko´s.
The 32-year-old Argentine boxer, holds a 25-1-0 record (10 KO´s). In her last fight, she defended the WBC super lightweight crown for the third time, by defeating Marisa Núñez.
Both fighters showing their professionalism, passed all the medical examinations and pre-weighings required by the WBC in a titular fight, in order to protect the integrity and well being of the boxers.
