Amir Khan is already mocking Brook for it.
Zerafa (25-2, 14 KO) has won eight straight since falling to Peter Quillin in 2015. The Aussie dropped to 154 last year and has since earned the Commonwealth and WBA Oceania titles at the weight, whatever those are worth.
He’s a disappointing opponent for Brook (37-2, 26 KO). “Special K” has only fought once this year, a March demolition of Siarhei Rabchanka, and while I can understand wanting a breather after fighting Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence Jr. in quick succession, it sucks to see him treading water.
Just stop chasing Khan, man. It’s never going to happen. He’s just going to keep pulling the football away and you’re going to keep wasting months of what’s left of your prime.
