Kenbati to defend WBC Asia welterweight title against Youli

World Boxing Council Asian Boxing Council welterweight champion Kenbati Haiyilao of Beijing will make his first title defense against compatriot Youli Dong of Qingdao on Dec. 13 at TSSG Center in Qingdao.

The 24-year old Kenbati grabbed the belt from Nick Frese of Amsterdam by a unanimous decision last Nov. 16, 2019 in Thailand.

Youli, on the other hand, won the vacant OPBF Silver welterweight title by beating In Duck Seo of South Korea by a unanimous decision last Jan. 12, 2020, at TSSG Center in Qingdao.

The promoter is Li Sheng of SECA Ltd. and matchmaker is Lin Fe.
